What is transformational leadership coaching?

Transformational coaching goes beyond leadership skill development by identifying the fundamental characteristics and strengths of the individual and using them to build a pathway that not only develops their leadership skills but grows them as a leader.

Transformational coaching is successful because it does not apply generic, ‘outside in’ knowledge but uses the leader’s individual qualities to help them grow in the best way for them.

Leadership coaching is regular one-on-one discussion where the coach asks questions and offers views that trigger the coachee’s reflection and growth as a leader. Coaching is about thoughtful change, from small skills and behaviours to changing mindsets. It is often augmented through profiling, assessment tools and a development plan.
